Check eSIM Compatibility
Go to Settings → General → About. If you see 'Available SIM' or 'eSIM', your iPhone supports eSIM. Compatible models: iPhone XS and later.
Open Camera App
Open your iPhone's Camera app and point it at the QR code you received via email.
Tap the Notification
When a notification appears saying 'Cellular Plan Detected', tap on it to proceed.
Add Cellular Plan
Tap 'Continue' when prompted to add the cellular plan. Your iPhone will verify the eSIM.
Label Your Plan
Choose a label for your new plan (e.g., 'Travel' or 'Secondary'). This helps distinguish it from your primary SIM.
Set as Secondary Line
When asked, set the eSIM as your secondary line for cellular data. Keep your primary number for calls/SMS.
Enable Data Roaming
Go to Settings → Cellular → Your eSIM plan → Turn ON 'Data Roaming'. This is essential for the eSIM to work abroad.
Select for Mobile Data
Go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → Select your eSIM plan as the data source when traveling.
Important: Enable Data Roaming!
Data Roaming must be turned ON for your eSIM to work abroad. Without this setting enabled, you won't be able to connect to the internet even with a valid eSIM installed.
